            Nowadays, we receive reports on Environmental issues such as bio-diversity, deforestation, global warming and pollution. We also observe the ecological imbalances which occur due to environmental degradation.

            The environmental crisis occurs mainly due to man’s careless activities and attitude. The carbon-di-oxide gas emission has enhanced in the atmosphere and as a result its concentration also gets increased considerably. Due to this, the sea water gets greatly acidified due to the formation of carbonic acid. Even sea shells found in marine water also get dissolved. Some changes also occur in the habitat of marine creatures such as corals.

            The green house gases are also mainly responsible for global warming. As a result, the ice bergs found in artic and antartic regions start melting and pave the way for sea level rise. The global warming is due to the depletion of ozone layer of the upper atmosphere. On account of this, the ultra-violet rays enter into our atmosphere, and cause global warming. The trees are helpful in reducing ‘global warming;, because they utilize CO2 (carbon-di-oxide) and release oxygen in the atmosphere. Hence, growing trees in abundance, will help us to put an end to “global warming”. The oxygen which is released by trees will help all the living beings to breath fresh air.

            So, if we cut down trees recklessly, it will pave the way for global warming and less oxygen content in the atmosphere.

            Moreover, slaughtering animals mercilessly will also cause ecological imbalance, for instance, if you start killing frogs in paddy fields, in large numbers. Then, the population of snakes will increase, because they feed upon the frogs. The population of the insects will increase when frogs in large numbers are slained. Therefore, if one living being is killed, the other species of animal gets multiplied. As a result ecological imbalance will occur.

            The powerful electromagnetic radiation emitted from cell phone towers also affects the birds that dwell in a particular area. They used migrate from one area to another area on account of this.

            Due to water scarcity, the animals move from forests to the human habitats. The elephants move to villages and destroy the paddy fields and sugarcane fields and even cause death to human beings.

            India is the country, which has reverence for all forms of life. But, atpresent compassion and kindness lacks in the minds of the Indians. They mercilessly and recklessly kill animals in experimentation, for producing certain commodities and also for consuming their flesh. If we stop killing the animals and cutting down the trees, without understanding the future menaces, we will definitely held responsible for ecological imbalances and environmental disasters. We not only devastate the welfare of the present humanity, but also eradicate the natural, global wealth of the future generation.
